April 7-8: The Woodlands Children's Museum holds holiday events

The Woodlands Children's Museum invites children to celebrate Easter with a series of events with craft activities, such as a bunny mask creation, an egg painting activity and a basket-decorating activity. Usborne Books & More will have a booth April 7 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. that includes the STEM and STEAM product line SmartLab Toys.

April 8: Run in a timed course

A chip-timed 5K course winds throughout The Woodlands Waterway in the Run and Done 3.1. The event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. The race is for all skill levels and is recommended for ages 10 and older. Preregistration is required.April 8: Celebrate on Market Street

Market Street is celebrating the season with face painting, a special visit from a balloon artist, cotton candy, an Easter-themed photo opportunity and giveaways in its Central Park green space. The Easter photo-op will be available from April 7-9.

April 8: Have an 'eggstravagant' Easter celebration


Participants are welcome to take part in the annual Easter celebration, which will include games with the Easter bunny, an egg hunt and crafts. Coffee, doughnuts and fruit will also be provided at the event, and participants need to bring their own baskets to carry goodies home.April 8-9: The Woodlands Resort hosts Easter events

The Woodlands Resort is celebrating Easter weekend with a weekend of events, including pool side games, chalk art, trivia, movie nights, turtle feeding and karaoke. A full schedule can be found online for both days. On Easter Sunday, guests can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, crafts, brunch and a family photo opportunity. Easter brunch at the resort will include an assortment of brunch classics such as crab cake eggs Benedict, an omelet station and oysters. Those interested can make a reservation on the website.
