Attendees can experience a variety of local fare and learn about tequila at the Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting Tour, a Wine and Food Week signature event in The Woodlands on March 23. The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at The Woodlands Country Club, 100 Grand Fairway, The Woodlands.

Tickets are $45 and offer an evening of education with tequila specialists, cocktails and food options.

The event offers an opportunity for attendees to learn about the different types of tequila, including mezcal, sotol and avila. Attendees will also meet brand ambassadors, tequila specialists and educators who will share their craft products. The Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting event offers a selection of craft products from Mijenta, 1800 Cristalino, Don Julio, Dos Hombres Mezcal, Gran Centenario, Jose Cuervo and other companies.

Guests will be able to sample a variety of food starting with the H-E-B Gourmet Nacho Bar as well as other foods provided by Chef's United, State Fare Kitchen & Bar, Goya Foods, Gringo's and Thistle Draftshop. Additionally, Bundt Cake-A-Holic is offering alcohol-inspired treats.

Included in admission tickets are tequila forum seminars, where guests can experience formal tasting mats, and a tequila specialist presenter serves various styles of tequila, according to a news release


The event is a fundraiser for The Woodlands Arts Council, a local nonprofit that provides regional cultural and educational enrichment opportunities that encourage, support and promote the performing and visual arts, according to the release.

Guests will also have a chance to win the Party Wagon Raffle worth over $1,500 in tequila, swag and more to stock a bar.
