Dec. 3: Support a local cause
A Christmas celebration presented by Elite Medical Skin and Laser Center will raise money for Redeemed Ministries. The event will be free but will include opportunities for donations as well as proceeds from the purchase of food. Dec. 3: Donate to help grieving families
Little Angel Network, a Houston-based nonprofit that supports families grieving the loss of a child, will host its first annual donation drive with a parking lot party featuring Zumba, music, food trucks and yoga. Donations of items such as socks, lotion, lip balm, journals, pens and facial tissue are used to create grieving care packages. They are then delivered to hospitals and birthing centers to give to a family who have lost a child. 1-4 p.m. Donations accepted.
