Oct. 21: Celebrate Halloween at the YMCA

The Woodlands YMCA will hold its Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating, carnival games, concessions and T-shirts. Oct. 22: Fire up the grill with Sterling Ridge

The Sterling Ridge Village Association’s annual BBQ Challenge and Kids Festival features free barbecue prepared by neighborhood teams as well as hot dogs, children’s games, bounce houses, and meet and greets with members of The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Attendees can don a costume and rent a two-person kayak. Participants visit treat stops to collect Halloween candy from Riva Row staff. The Woodlands Township invites kids to model their costumes to celebrate Halloween. The event includes trick-or-treating with goods provided by local vendors as well as strolling entertainers, carnival games, photo areas, costume contests, Halloween crafts, balloon artists and food trucks.
