Take part in Houston Restaurant Weeks

The Houston Restaurant Weeks event continues through August. Diners who eat at participating Houston Restaurant Weeks locations can select from set menus with a portion of the proceeds going to the Houston Food Bank. Numerous restaurants in The Woodlands area are participating.


See a runway show

Walk The Woodlands will benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic. The event will include a runway fashion show with seasonal fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue and local honorees. The event is followed by an after-party. 6 p.m. Donations, sponsorships accepted. Attend the annual Chairman’s Ball

The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce will hold its 44th annual Chairman’s Ball, themed “A Night in Emerald City.” This year’s event honors current Chair Julie Ambler, head of school at The Woodlands Christian Academy. 6:30-11:55 p.m. $200 (individual ticket). Attend a concert for environmental awareness

The Echo-Wellness concert presented by Environment for Tomorrow, a group founded by high school students in The Woodlands, will raise money to promote improving water quality and waterway health in The Woodlands, according to organizers. Attendees are asked to RSVP, and donations are accepted. The event will also include giveaways of items such as dog waste pickup kits, storm drain markers and T-shirts. 7 p.m. Free. Meet local home improvement professionals

The Montgomery County Home and Outdoor Living Show will be held at the Lone Star Convention and Expo Center. The show connects attendees with local home improvement professionals.
