Here's what The Woodlands area voters need to know for early voting and the Nov. 4 election

On the ballot

This is not a comprehensive list and does not include all possible Nov. 4 races or any uncontested races.

The four candidates for Position 6 on The Woodlands Township board of directors are:

• Adam Lamb
• Allan Bounds
• Philip Ikharebhore
• Maria Holmes

Positions 5 and 7, which also have terms ending this year, are currently occupied by incumbents Shelley Sekula-Gibbs and Cindy Heiser, respectively, who are seeking reelection. Ann Snyder is not seeking reelection to Position 6.

The race will not be on the ballot for voters outside of The Woodlands Township.

What else?

Voters across the state will also consider 17 proposed state constitutional amendments, as previously reported by Community Impact. The amendments include topics such as property tax reduction and funding water supply projects.
