Early voting begins April 22 for the May general election, and The Woodlands-area voters have a chance to weigh in on items including a road bond in Montgomery County, and residents of Tomball ISD will also vote on a school bond.

Dates to know
  • April 22: first day of early voting and last day to apply for ballot by mail (received, not postmarked)
  • April 29: last day of early voting
  • May 3: election day and the last day to receive ballot by mail (or May 5 if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7 p.m. at location of election)
What’s on the ballot

Montgomery County voters will have an item to consider at the ballot box. County commissioners agreed Feb. 11 to put a $480 million road bond referendum on the May 3 ballot, which will go towards funding a number of road improvement projects across the county.

TISD residents in Harris County can visit www.harrisvotes.org for early voting locations as those become available.
