Rep. Steve Toth, the Republican incumbent who retained his seat in the race for Texas House District 15, said in a phone interview the morning of Nov. 9 that he was grateful for voter support in the contested election.
"It's been 10 months since found out I had a primary opponent; it’s been a long 10 months, but it’s been fruitful and rewarding, and we are just very humbled that we have been asked to continue to serve," Toth said.
Toth, a small-business owner, previously told Community Impact he plans to prioritize issues such as property tax relief and border security in his next term.
