Conroe ISD Superintendent Don Stockton announced his retirement from CISD in August after 32 years in the district. Stockton’s tenure with the district ends on June 1, following the end of the 2017-18 school year.
What’s next
CISD began accepting appications for the superintendent position on Jan. 8, and educators can apply until Jan. 28. Job requirements include a doctorate degree in educational administration, a valid Texas Superintendent Certificate and five years of leadership in school administration. The new superintendent will be named on April 17.
