The 2017 SCI://TECH Exposition starts Jan. 27.[/caption]
The Education for Tomorrow Alliance will host its 27
th annual SCI://TECH Exposition, a series of science, technology, engineering and math competitions that engages 5,000 K-12 grade students, starting this weekend.
The 2017 SCI://TECH Exposition, themed “Science is electrifying! Get amped up!” starts Friday with the Entergy Private School Science Fair and the Anadarko Senior High Science Bowl at Lone Star College-Montgomery.
Hundreds of volunteer judges are needed for the duration of the exposition, along with business and community volunteers, through Feb. 18. Volunteers are especially needed on Feb. 3 during the largest science fair in Texas held at the Lone Star Convention Center. Volunteers can register online at

Thousands of visitors are also expected to participate in the Huntsman Elementary Science Festival during the SCI://TECH Expo Day on Feb. 4, which will engage students in kindergarten through fourth grade with hands-on science experiments.
