Kokoro Handroll Bar opens on Waterway Avenue in The Woodlands

Duckstache Hospitality announced its new sushi restaurant Kokoro Handroll Bar opened in The Woodlands Town Center March 10.

What they offer

According to a news release, guests at the restaurant can interact with the sushi makers as they create nigiri, sashimi, handrolls and crudo. Kokoro originally opened in Houston in 2019 and also has two locations in Dubai. The Woodlands location is the fourth location for the sushi restaurant.

Unlike the other locations for Kokoro, The Woodlands' location includes a full bar with beer, wine, sake and cocktails. Ricardo Ortega oversees restaurant operations as general manager.

"We look forward to bringing a new dining experience to The Woodlands," said business partner C.J. Short. "Our sushi is of the highest quality, and we’re committed to maintaining that standard as we expand."
