A new location of The Capital Grille will open in The Woodlands, according to a filing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The new location will involve the demolition of an existing building and construction of a new restaurant, according to the filing. Employees at the current restaurant at that location, The Macaroni Grill, said on Feb. 26 the restaurant is not closing immediately.

The Capital Grille is a fine-dining restaurant specializing in steaks, seafood and featuring a variety of wines.

The start date for the project, estimated to cost $2.5 million, is July 22, with completion as of March 25, 2025, according to TDLR.

A media contact for the restaurant could not immediately be reached for comment.
