A creation of Houston restaurateurs Mack and Tan McDonald, and part of the McDonald Entertainment Group, the restaurant will feature fresh seafood, a full oyster bar, prime steaks and other dishes created by Houston-area executive chefs Carlos Andrade and Manny Viveros, according to the news release. The restaurant will feature 7,000 square feet of space and a patio, according to the release.
“The Woodlands is a special place that we have had our eyes on for years, looking for the right opportunity to open a new restaurant in the community,” the McDonalds said in a news release. “The community is welcoming to diverse cuisine, and Creekside Park provides a convenient destination for residents to enjoy appetizing and enticing culinary dishes.”
The McDonald Entertainment Group also owns Rouxpour Restaurant & Bar with four locations in Houston as well as Briscoe Manor, a wedding and event venue in Richmond.
Mack Allen's will be built on 2 acres near Creekside Forest Drive and Timarron Drive at Creekside Park Village Center, and it will open in the second half of 2024, according to the news release. www.howardhughes.com
