Xalisko Cocina Mexicana will open Feb. 11 in The Woodlands, offering Mexican-style dishes inspired by the state of Jalisco with modern twists, according to owner Juan Martines.

The restaurant will offer a variety of dishes from chef Beatriz Martines. One of the biggest staples will be several varieties of corn, which is ground daily in-house for fresh tortillas as well as other dishes.

The location offers open and private dining areas as well as a full bar with classic and traditional Mexican drinks.
