Once summer hits, iced coffee and lattes become the drink of choice for many Artesano Coffee Shop patrons, owners John García and Jeanette Vargas-Lovelle said.

A customer favorite is the iced caramel latte, which is made with the customer’s choice of almond, coconut, soy or regular milk, caramel syrup and espresso poured over ice. The beverage costs $3.95, $4.55 or $4.90 for a 16-ounce, 20-ounce or 24-ounce drink, respectively. Other syrup options include vanilla, cinnamon and lavender.

“I make the coffee to [the customer’s] liking—exactly how they want it,” García said. “We have many different options on sweeteners … also all the milk options, so we don’t want anybody trying to add something to the coffee. When they get it, it’s perfectly ready for them.”

In addition to the variety of espresso and Latin coffee drinks offered, Artesano also serves teas and cold-pressed juices as well as panini, empanadas, pastries and gourmet chocolates.
