While Deacon Baldy’s Bar & Food Trucks offers a wide variety of beverages at its bar, the eatery has created a new drink that has become popular. Manager Joey Muckenthaler said the fall sangria costs $8 a glass and is now offered as a fall drink on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The drink is made with several ingredients, including Spanish red wine, cranberry juice, triple sec, applejack, brown sugar, angostura bitters, orange peels and apples. “It’s a little bit sweeter than our summer sangria, and we’ve tweaked it to be more fall-friendly,” Muckenthaler said. “It’s been very popular.” Featuring a variety of drinks and food trucks, Muckenthaler said the goal of Deacon Baldy’s is to create a backyard for the community and be a place where people can come relax and socialize. “We want everyone to feel like it’s their own backyard patio,” he said.
