According to Agith Thomas, administrator for the Magnolia Surgery Center, the new unit will focus on interventional pain management with implants and therapeutic injections for patients dealing with chronic and acute pain such as lower back pain, muscle spasms, joint arthritis, pelvic pain and neuropathy.
Thomas said the space will also include a new pain management office in the same building.
