The Woodlands Development Company broke ground on Lake Woodlands Crossing, a 62,656-square-foot retail center in Town Center, in late January, according to company officials.

Located at the northeast intersection of Lake Woodlands Drive and Grogans Mill Road, confirmed tenants for the shopping center include Ulta Beauty, Total Wine & More, Stickhouse, which offers gelato on a stick, and Main Squeeze Juice Company, a smoothie and juice bar.

The site also includes a space for an upscale restaurant, however a tenant has not yet been announced. Lake Woodlands Crossing is currently 65 percent pre-leased, according to TWDC officials.

Rip Reynolds, vice president of retail and commercial land for The Howard Hughes Corporation, said leasing opportunities are continuing to prevail in the center, which will offer a variety of retailers and casual dining options.

“The Howard Hughes Corporation is excited to announce its newest retail center, Lake Woodlands
Crossing, which will be a convenient location for shopping and dining in a prominent retail corridor
within the heart of The Woodlands Town Center,” Reynolds said.

Reynolds said the project will take 10-11 months to construct. Tenants may begin their construction in July and could open to the public as early as September.
