Nearly 100,000 residents of the seven ZIP codes making up Community Impact Newspaper's The Woodlands coverage area had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine through March 22, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Through the first 14 weeks of statewide vaccine distribution, the area—including ZIP codes 77380, 77381, 77382, 77384, 77385, 77386 and 77389—saw a total of 95,848 vaccine doses administered. That figure includes well over 60,000 people vaccinated with at least one dose and more than 30,000 people who are now fully vaccinated. Vaccination data is not yet available for the week of March 23.

Countywide, more than 155,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered as of March 26, including over 100,000 people vaccinated with at least one dose and over 58,000 people fully vaccinated. Through 15 weeks, nearly 240,00 first and second vaccine doses have been allocated to health care providers throughout the county.
