Montgomery County COVID-19 recoveries continue to increase June 9; active cases rise slightly

COVID-19 recoveries in Montgomery County continue to rise, growing from 619 to 645 from June 8-9, according to the Montgomery County Public Health District and the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management.

The county recorded 32 new cases overall June 9, bringing the total case count to 1,122. No new deaths were reported June 9.


Of the 446 currently active cases, 14—or 3.14%—are hospitalized. The total active cases reported June 9 represent a slight increase over the June 8 count of 440, including 10 hospitalizations.
