The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Montgomery County jumped nearly 13% from June 2-3, while the county's total case count continues to climb, according to the latest data from the county public health district and office of emergency management.
Sixty-two new recoveries from the disease were reported June 3, accompanied by a drop of 39 active cases including three fewer hospitalizations. The county's overall COVID-19 case count rose by 23 to reach 1,033.
Alongside the daily case update, the county announced that one of the three coronavirus test locations participating in its
voucher testing program would be closing. America's ER, which had been running a drive-thru clinic at WoodsEdge Church in Spring, will be relocating to its freestanding clinic location at 32784 FM 2978, Magnolia, on June 5. County-issued testing vouchers will still be accepted at America's ER church site through June 4.
