The
Texas Renaissance Festival, the nation's largest Renaissance-themed festival, presents its annual one-day ticket sale, "Sale of the Century," from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday or while supplies last.
Ticket prices are reduced by more than 65 percent during the sale. A limited number of 100,000 admission tickets are available for $11.95.
“Our festival grows by leaps and bounds year over year, as more people come to discover the magic of the festival and are transported to the 16th century,” Texas Renaissance Festival General Manager Terre Albert said in a news release. “The Sale of the Century is our way of rewarding our loyal fan base, while also extending that magic to those who have yet to experience the wonder of the festival.”
The festival will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 29–Nov. 25, including Friday, Nov. 23, on the 55-acre festival grounds in Todd Mission, Texas, which is about an hour's drive north of Houston.
A person can buy up to 38 tickets during the sale. Each ticket is good for one admission (adult or child) during any regular festival day during the 2018 season. Afterward, prices increase to $24.95 (advanced discount) and $32 (regular adult admission).
