The 15th annual The Woodlands Fall Home & Garden Show has been postponed from this weekend to Oct. 28-29, following the devastation from Hurricane Harvey.

Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., the producer of The Woodlands Fall Home and Garden Show, announced the postponement Aug. 29.

“Many homeowners in Houston and the surrounding areas will in all likelihood be busy with the cleanup from the devastating storm and severe flooding we’re presently experiencing,” Wood said in a statement. “We send our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the storm and hope to see them at The Woodlands show in October.”

The event will include a two-day program packed with cooking demonstrations, exhibits and interactive workshops. The show will take place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.
