A variety of events will occur this weekend in and around The Woodlands. Here area a few to consider adding to the calendar.

1. June 24: Festival of India

This free, family event will be held this weekend in The Woodlands. The festival will feature a first look at the Char Dham Hindu Temple in The Woodlands, dances and music, arts and culture, a fashion show and a yoga session. 5-8:30 p.m. Free. 2. June 25: Braiding Class

Sweet & Sassy, a salon and spa in Shenandoah, will host a braiding class for daughters. Parents will learn how to French braid their daughter's hair. 3. June 24: Moyz Street Food anniversary party

4. June 24: Fantastic Lizards and Where to Find Them

The Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center will host a class for all ages that will include an interaction with live lizards. Participants will discuss various native and introduced lizard species. 1:30-2:30 p.m. Free.
