Cassio was re-elected to the Place 4 seat on Oak Ridge City Council with 123 total votes, or 75 percent of the vote. Challenger Broyles garnered 25 percent of the vote, or 41 votes, according to unofficial results. All results are unofficial until canvassed. Cassio was unavailable for comment on Election night.

Unofficial early voting results show incumbent Michelle Cassio in the lead for the Oak Ridge North City Council Place 4 race. Cassio received 79 percent, or 42 early votes, while challenger Dan Broyles received 21 percent, or 11 votes. Cassio, who is co-owner of local business Cassio Creations, has lived in the city for 11 years. Broyles, who is retired, move to Oak Ridge North 36 years ago. All results are unofficial until canvassed.
