A new family-friendly arcade has arrived in Spring, joining the growing competition with other entertainment chains in the area.
Tokyouth Playhub, which celebrated its grand opening on June 27, is a Japanese-concept attraction center featuring arcade games, virtual reality games, claw machines and racing simulators, store management confirmed.
The venue seeks to entertain players of every age group with its extensive offerings, while at the same time remaining an affordable place of excursion for families and friends.
What is there to do?
Guests can purchase a no-expiration membership card at the venue that can be reloaded with tokens for playtime on any visit. Guests who purchase cards over a certain amount are eligible to receive various token bonuses for their experience.
Based on what guests earn from playing, players can use their winnings as currency to select prizes from Tokyouth’s wall, which includes toys from brands like Sanrio, Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z and Pop Mart, store management said.
Tokyouth’s unique trading system allows guests to trade in their prizes for other ones based on certain criteria, which goes hand-in-hand with the hub’s initiative to regularly replenish its prize wall with new inventory. This is to ensure that guests experience new offerings every time they visit the location and are encouraged to return, officials explained to Community Impact.

As Tokyouth Playhub celebrates its new home in the Spring community, store management said that plans are already in the works for the venue to combine its arcade concept with a food and drink concept in the future. This hybrid approach will create an all-around experience for guests as they venture to win prizes and play games.
Henry Zhu, owner of Tokyouth Playhub, also operates sushi restaurant Ema Japanese Cuisine under the same management, which is located at 6700 Woodlands Parkway, The Woodlands.
