Luxury motor coach company Vonlane officially launched its daily service between The Woodlands and Dallas June 13, bringing a new travel option to Montgomery County and surrounding areas, according to a news release.

The overview

The nonstop route includes 38 weekly departures from The Woodland Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center to the company's Dallas terminal at the Doubletree Love Field, according to the release.

Vonlane includes 22 first-class leather seats, complimentary Wi-Fi and attendants offering snacks, meals and drinks. Tickets are $125 for one-way trips, according to the release.

What they're saying

“The Woodlands area has been our most requested geographic addition for several years, so we’re thrilled to announce this expansion, our 10th destination, on our 11th anniversary,” Alex Danza, founder and CEO of Vonlane, said in the release. “Bringing our elevated bus service to suburban areas is a strategic priority as we seek to relieve the hassles of driving and air travel.”

Nick Wolda, president of Visit The Woodlands, said the new terminal will serve both visitors and residents.

"This first-class amenity is a fantastic addition to our vibrant community, perfectly designed to elevate the travel experience,” he said.
