The Woodlands Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), founded in 1976, is moving from its location at 1202 North Millbend Drive to 635 Sawdust Road, church officials said.
The background
The church began as a small congregation meeting at Interfaith of The Woodlands, and it built the North Millbend church in the 1980s. In the 1990s, it expanded the sanctuary and added an education wing, according to information from the church.
"Through the years, we have faced many changes together, including the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which made gathering in person impossible for a time," a news release from the church said. "Yet, through resilience, faith and the unwavering support of our congregation, we have remained steadfast in our mission and ministry."
