Playful Pack Dog Daycare and Boarding coming soon to The Woodlands area

Playful Pack Dog Daycare and Boarding is opening a new location in The Woodlands area directly opposite the Oak Ridge High School baseball fields. It will be operated by owners Zaida and Alex Ronstadt, officials said. The dog day care will be officially open for business on Feb. 10.

The details

The new location is holding a grand opening event on Feb. 8 from noon-3 p.m. featuring complimentary food and music in addition to sign-ups for two free days of day care and appointments for a dog temperament test.

Alex Ronstadt said the new facility will include a 6,600-square-foot interior space in addition to 1,500-square-foot outdoor play area.

“We wholeheartedly believe dogs benefit from socializing with other dogs and exercising during their stay in our day care play rooms,” Alex Ronstadt said.

What they offer

Playful Pack Dog Daycare and Boarding provides trained kennel technicians who monitor the dogs throughout the day, officials said. Alex Ronstadt said Playful Pack Dog Daycare and Boarding does not keep dogs in confined spaces.

The dog day care offers webcams for dog owners to view their dogs and how they interact with others as well as security cameras with storage of all video footage.

Services will include daycare, overnight boarding, washing, grooming and training.
