Howard Hughes announced new office leases in The Woodlands for seven companies with specialties such as fiber internet and concierge health care in a Dec. 16 news release.

According to the release, the Howard Hughes office portfolio is 90% leased, while the Houston area overall sees its office space leased at a rate of about 75%.

The details

The new leases and expansions include:
  • Tachus, a fiber internet company, signed a 25,051-square-foot lease to put its primary headquarters at 3831 Technology Forest Blvd.
  • Weaver and Tidwell is expanding its footprint at One Hughes Landing to 26,031 square feet. The company is a national accounting and consulting firm.
  • Beusa, along with its family of companies, Evolution, Dynamis, Amp and Mertz, is expanding its operations at Three Hughes Landing, adding another 14,000 square feet, according to the release. The companies specialize in fracturing services, turbine power solutions and manufacturing/integration.
  • Aktopa, a chemical distribution company, is relocating from Technology Forest Boulevard to 2,853 square feet at Two Hughes Landing.
  • WorkHub Developments, a real estate developer, is leasing 2,507 square feet at Three Hughes Landing. The company specializes in flexible small-bay industrial space solutions.
  • Sydenham Clinic, providing personalized concierge health and longevity care, will operate at One Hughes Landing in The Woodlands.
  • White Wing Wealth Management, a financial advisory firm, is moving from Six Pines Drive to a 7,200-square-foot space at Waterway Plaza II.
