The details

"The Nutcracker" is a storytelling ballet centered on the E.T.A. Hoffman original 1816 story about a girl named Clara who receives a wooden Nutcracker that comes to life as a prince on Christmas Eve.

"This season's 'Nutcracker' will be the most memorable yet, and audiences will love the magic, mystery, and little dash of humor," TADA's Ballet Director Amy Leonards said. "Our dancers, faculty, and families have been working so hard to make our 10th anniversary performances extra special, and we have so many exciting things in store.”

Per the release, the annual Christmas classic "The Nutcracker" is performed by dancers ages 7-18 years old. The 10th year celebration held at College Park High School Theater will include performances throughout the weekend, a festival holiday market and visits from Santa.
