A new pickup-and-go style restaurant, opened in late May in The Woodlands area.

Eat This provides fresh food available for carryout or pickup that can be heated up at the location. Food made to order includes Caesar salad, tacos and Pretty Healthy And Tasty (P.H.A.T.) Rolls. The location also uses compostable containers, and meals that require reheating are not subject to sales tax, according to Eat This.Excalibur Brewing


Owners Jeremy and Melissa Hahn expanded their brewing business with a second location in May. The business's first location opened in early 2020 in Old Town Spring.

Excalibur Brewing offers a variety of house-made beer flavors and diverse beer styles including India pale ales, Hazy IPAs, sour beers and fruit beers. The brewery also offers beer to-go in cans and growlers as well as live music on the weekends.Chubbies

The casual menswear store opened its newest location within The Woodlands Mall in mid-May, providing a variety of shorts and pants as well as children's clothing. Chubbies specializes in men's clothing for casual and beach wear as well as pajamas and hats.Samsung

Officials said the company expanded with a new office location in The Woodlands on May 17.


The 6,183-square-foot office is occupied by 20 members working on sales and engineering activities while primarily focusing on Samsung’s memory and data storage business as well as supporting original equipment manufacturer customers, officials said.Riverstone Commercial Real Estate

Riverstone Commercial Real Estate announced the opening of its second location within The Woodlands, providing property management, investment and marketing services for commercial properties.

Wood Wonders

Wood Wonders is now open along Tamina Road, owner and sales manager Rossy Sanchez confirmed via email.

Wood Wonders offers customers a variety of furniture, including live-edge tables, and indoor and outdoor rustic furniture, Sanchez said.

The business also offers wood engravings and free delivery within the area, Sanchez said.

Navita Health

The new mental health clinic serves adults and teens with treatments including traditional, group, family, dialectical, behavioral and trauma-informed treatments.Third Coast Bank

The Denmark-based renewable energy company is leasing 4,172 square feet at the Three Hughes Landing building, according to a news release from Howard Hughes. Blue Power Partners specializes in solar, wind, and water resources for environmental sustainability.

Bionova Scientific announced it will open a facility in The Woodlands in 2025 producing material for cell and gene therapy, joining a growing number of life sciences companies that have opened new facilities in The Woodlands. A news release from Bionova, an Asahi Kasei Group company, states the full-service biologics contract development and manufacturing organization will focus on producing starting material for cell and gene therapy, and DNA/RNA-based and recombinant protein therapeutics in the first quarter of 2025. The new venture in The Woodlands will allow the company to expand into plasmid DNA, or pDNA, production, according to the release.Relocations
