Space Cadets Collection Collection, a comic book store, relocated to Shenandoah from Oak Ridge after 14 years.

The name originates from the 1950s television series “Tom Corbett, Space Cadet,” owner Jen King said. “Collection Collection” is to insinuate that the store is a collection of things people collect, such as comic books, figurines, games and more, she said.

King wanted a unique name for her business and said she likes “funny names that are fun and stand out.”

King said Space Cadets Collection Collection aims to be family friendly and promote early readership, offering a wide range of children's books.
