Following the announcement that Sears Holding Company filed for bankruptcy Oct. 15, Sears Home Appliance Showroom, located at 26914 I-45 N., Oak Ridge North, announced via Facebook that it would remain open.

According to the Facebook post, Sears Home Appliance Showroom is part of the Sears Hometown & Outlet company, which separated from Sears Holding Company in 2012. Sears Appliance & Hardware Stores and Sears Outlets are also part of the Sears Hometown & Outlet company and are expected to remain open, according to the post.



The local showroom features a wide selection of appliances including refrigerators, cooking appliances, laundry machines and dishwashers, as well as lawn and garden items, tools, outdoor living products and mattresses.
