The 1252 Signature Sangria, available by the glass or pitcher at 1252 Tapas Bar, is made fresh daily, Assistant Manager Trevor Donnelly said. The drink is a fusion of cabernet sauvignon and red burgundy red wines with spirits and fresh fruit juice.

“It helps to define the culture of 1252 Tapas Bar, which is traditional Spanish and Iberian cuisine with a touch of Americana,” he said.

Donnelly said the 1252 Signature Sangria is the most popular cocktail at the tapas bar because it is easy to drink in the hot summer months, and people like to order it in the winter as well.

“Sangria appeals to both the avid wine drinker and casual cocktail fan,” he said.

Donnelly said the bartenders at 1252 Tapas Bar have over time honed in on just the right combination of flavors to offer the perfect sangria.

“Our sangria has been refined by our mixology specialists over the last five years,” he said.

The drink is offered for $8, but during happy hour—from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day Sunday—the 1252 Signature Sangria is $4.
