Jordan’s Sweet Shoppe opened in February in the Creekside Park Village Center. Greg Witkop owns the store with Jordan Blodgett, and said the community, including children and adults, has embraced the store.

“We have candies from their youth,” he said. “Penny candy, candy bars—they remember saving up their money, running to the candy store, and now they can do the same thing with their kids.”

The candy store carries Big Hunk, Zero Bars, Valomilk and vintage-wrapped Hershey Milk Chocolate Bars as well as specialty chocolates. In addition to candies, Jordan’s Sweet Shoppe has an ice cream bar and gift selections.

Witkop said the store welcomes requests from customers, which has led to a large line of Mexican and British candies. He said in the future, there will be gift-box options with various candy items and that the store will offer still more candy.
