Cinemark at Market Street closes in The Woodlands


Cinemark at Market Street, located at 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, officially closed Dec. 31.




The Woodlands Fuddruckers closing in early 2022

The Fuddruckers location in the Village of Grogans Mill at 2290 Buckthorn Place, The Woodlands, is expected to permanently close sometime in early 2022, according to company officials. An official date could not be confirmed.

Daiso Japan coming to Metropark Square in The Woodlands area

According to information from Daniel Moon, vice president of the Sam Moon Group, which develops the property, Daiso will be executing its lease by Jan. 7.

P. Terry's Burger Stand coming to Cedar Park


P. Terry's Burger Stand will build a new location in Cedar Park. The burger stand is expected to open in spring 2023, according to a company representative.

New grocery store could be in works for outskirts of Kyle




The Kyle City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance Jan. 4 to annex approximately 102 acres at the corner of FM 150 and SH-21 into the city of Kyle as it is adjacent and contiguous to the city limits but is technically in Hays County land.
