The Glade Arts Foundation has released a list of events it will host in July, August and early September at 2000 Woodlands Parkway, The Woodlands.

Collaborative culinary experiences

July 16

Nathania Lind, Jazz Quintet


Born in Sicily, Nathania Reid was first exposed to the world of popular music as a little girl by watching the world famous San Remo music festival on Italian television and moved to Houston 10 years ago to marry her high school sweetheart, Joel. She has played the lead role of Roxie in "Chicago," sung the national anthem for the Houston Astros and has performed for the annual Lighting Of The Doves ceremony in The Woodlands.

Live painting demo


Visitors can join and observe artist Daniel Elliott's creative process of his painting technique of oil on canvas. A live question-and-answer session will follow the demonstration.

Stand-up comedy night


Doors open for the stand-up comedy night at 7 p.m., which will feature comedians Ken Evans and Jim Holder.

Evans has appeared on NBC’s “Ed,” "Caroline’s Comedy Hour" and "Last Comic Standing." He has been a studio guest of the "Bob and Tom" show and the "Bob and Sherry" national radio show.

Jim Holder is a veteran of stand-up comedy who has headlined comedy clubs from coast to coast. He started his career at The Comedy Workshop in Houston.
