Check out what's happening in the Greater Houston area this weekend, Oct. 9-11. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
1. International Food Festival
An international food festival celebrating faith, culture and community will be hosted by St. Anthony the Great Orthodox Christian Church. The event will highlight a variety of cuisines and traditions, feature local vendors, offer family-friendly activities and allow attendees to tour the church. Speaker sessions will also be held.
2. Friends of the Bellaire Library Fall Book Sale
At the Bellaire Fire Station, patrons can drop by the semi-annual book sale and browse used books for adults and children, puzzles and more. All proceeds benefit the Bellaire City Library’s summer reading program and other initiatives. Hardback books are $2 and paperbacks are $1. Lightly used book donations will also be accepted during the event.
3. Bridgeland 20th anniversary celebration
The community celebration will feature music, live entertainment, food trucks, photo opportunities, family-friendly fun, giveaways and more.
4. Fall for a Cause
TCOB Armory is holding a breast cancer awareness fundraiser featuring food trucks, a photo booth and vendors with unique items.
5. Katy Rice Harvest Festival
The festival will include live performances from artists like Lonestar and Neal McCoy, along with food trucks, vendors and a beer garden. All net proceeds will go toward local nonprofits, scholarships and charities.

6. In a Pickle Festival
The seventh annual In a Pickle Festival will feature more than 150 vendors with pickle-themed items, an array of free samples, contests, live music and a pet parade.
7. A Spooky Stroll
Shop from local vendors at a pop-up market hosted by Final Gravity Brewpub. The event is family- and pet-friendly. The first 25 attendees will receive a free tote bag filled with goodies.
8. Pumpkin float
The Woodlands Township is hosting a pumpkin float featuring fun activities at Lakeside Pool. Children ages 5-12 will find pumpkins to decorate in a patch or in the water. Different stations will offer a variety of games.

9. Witches Night Out
Experience a bewitching celebration with live music, magical crafts and mystical fortune tellers. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best witchy outfit.
10. Los Tigres del Norte
The band will perform its Grammy-winning work from the regional musical traditions of Mexico.
