There are a variety of fun events happening this weekend in The Woodlands. Here are a few to consider adding to your calendar. 1. April 7-9: The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival

The annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival begins Friday and lasts through the weekend, featuring artwork from more than 200 artists specializing in various mediums. The event will also include cooking demonstrations, craft beer tents and live music. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (Friday), 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Saturday), 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Sunday). $17 (gate price), Free (ages 12 and under). 2. April 8: Beer & BBQ Festival

Hubbell and Hudson Kitchen will host a Beer & BBQ Festival that will feature 30-plus craft beers, live music by Ramon Torres and more. Executive Chef Austin Simmons' limited-time only signature slow smoked barbecue will also available for purchase. The menu for the festival includes pork spare ribs, Akaushi Wagyu & Angus brisket, all natural turkey breasts, Akaushi Wagyu & pork sausage, plus house-made sides. Tickets are available for purchase the day of the event. The admission fee includes beer samples and a Hubbell & Hudson pint glass. 1-4 p.m. $25 (admission fee). 3. April 8: Night of Hope

Night of Hope is a fundraising gala hosted by Love Foster Hope, a nonprofit organization supporting children in foster care who have likely been abused, abandoned and neglected. The gala will offer dinner, dancing, a special program, auctions, games, and raise awareness for foster kids. 6 p.m.-midnight. $100 (individual dinner ticket). The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, 2301 N. 4. April 9: SUP Yoga Class

A yoga class will be held at the Riva Row Boat House this Sunday, with participants floating on paddleboards on Lake Woodlands. The two-hour class starts with participants getting familiar with their paddleboards and then being led through an hour class of Vinyasa flow yoga. noon-3 p.m. $40 per person.
