The Woodlands Township released an online survey this week seeking public feedback on cultural arts needs in the community.

The two-part study, which will be taken into consideration through the ongoing cultural arts feasibility study, will begin with a needs assessment and—if Phase 1 deems necessary—a management/business plan and financial pro forma phase.

Part of the needs assessment includes information obtained through an online survey, through which the public can voice their opinions on existing and potential cultural arts facilities and events. The term cultural arts in this study refers to museums, exhibition space and other elements of performing arts, according to the township.

“We encourage residents to take this opportunity to give the township feedback on the type of cultural arts facilities and activities they would like to have in The Woodlands in the future,” township board Chairman Gordy Bunch said.

The online survey will be open to the public until Feb. 27 and results will be presented to the township's board of directors at a meeting March 22.
