One of the arrangements the flower shop offers is the Victorian Romance Bouquet, which features hydrangeas, roses, lilies, hypericums and curly willow. Arrangements can be picked up at the shop or delivered to customers within the shop’s delivery zone.

Good Books in the Woods features finely bound books, many of which are first editions or first printings, literary magazines and journals, and scholarly books in the arts and sciences.

The store carries a first printing and first edition of Ernest Hemingway’s masterpiece, “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” for $900.

Good Books in the Woods has a 40,000-book curated collection. The oldest book in the store is from 1699.

Prices range from $2 for bargain books up to rare first printings for $3,000.

Located in Market Street, the franchise boutique carries a variety of clothing, accessories and footwear, including boots by Chinese Laundry. They are available in several different colors and styles, several with fringe or embellishments.

The boutique also carries a variety of other items from numerous designers, such as Free People, Native Gem and Parker.

The first location of Hemline opened in New Orleans in 1993, and numerous other independent locations have opened since across the South.

Owner Vic Page said his family-owned liquor store provides a personal touch as customers receive a one-on-one experience with either the owner himself or a family member when they come into the shop. The Shenandoah liquor store offers a variety of spirits, wines, beers and cigars for purchase.

One of the products offered at the store is a Bruichladdich Black Art 1990 Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky, Edition 04.1. The Scotch whisky is distilled, matured and bottled as a product of Scotland and aged 25 years.

Teacups and Tadpoles opened in The Woodlands in 2004, offering a variety of baby gifts and clothing options. Owner Kay Byrd said she tries to carry boutique-style clothing not found in a department store and also offer clothes that are age-appropriate for children and babies.

The boutique is set to get more Christmas outfits by December. Colorful Christmas dresses with matching accessories, such as headbands and gloves, are part of the boutique’s selection, with clothing available for girls between the ages of premature to 10 months and for boys between the ages of premature to 4T.
