The project will alleviate some of the traffic from Sienna Parkway, which runs parallel to it, said Shashi Kumar, Missouri City public works director.
The project is a joint effort between Missouri City and Fort Bend County. Most construction should be completed at the end of February, with the road opening to the public in March, Kumar said.
