The city of Missouri City is working with Fort Bend County to authorize the reconstruction of City Hall Drive, which connects Texas Parkway to the City Hall complex and to the Missouri City branch of the Fort Bend County Libraries.

The project—including design and construction—is estimated to cost $1.8 million, and construction is anticipated to begin during the summer of 2021.

Fort Bend County and the city of Missouri City will evenly split the cost. City Engineer Shashi Kumar said the project is of interest to the county and the city and that it is needed, as the road's current pavement condition is poor.

City Hall Drive is labeled as "Missouri City Drive" on Google Maps.
