1. West Airport Boulevard repairs
Originally slated for a January completion, Sugar Land is extending this project into February due to weather delays, according to city officials. Single-lane closures are taking place on West Airport Boulevard’s eastbound side between Industrial Boulevard and Dairy Ashford Road in Sugar Land for street roadway repairs that are part of the city’s ongoing street rehabilitation program.

2. Trammel-Fresno Road widening
This project in Missouri City will expand the two-lane road from FM 521 to Hurricane Lane to four lanes with a center turn lane. Work crews are still installing pipes and a storm drainage system in some areas and have begun installing concrete pavement, said Stacy Slawinski, Fort Bend County assistant engineer.
Timeline: October 2017-January 2020
Cost: $26.7 million

3. Crabb River Road widening
The project will expand part of Crabb River Road in Richmond from Rabbs Bayou to south of George Ranch High School from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a four-lane concrete roadway with a center turn lane. The contractor is in the process of installing the concrete pavement, Slawinski said.
Timeline: June 2018-July 2021
Cost: $35 million

4. Ludwig Lane widening
Ludwig Lane is being widened from Dulles Avenue to Brand Lane to create a three-lane roadway with one lane in each direction and a center turn lane. The contractor has installed the underground stormwater drainage and is now working on installing concrete pavement, Slawinski said.
Timeline: May 2018-April 2019

5. Sansbury Boulevard extension
The project’s completion date was pushed to March. It is extending Sansbury Boulevard in Richmond from Grand Estates Drive to Williams Way Boulevard, featuring four divided concrete lanes. The contractor has installed the storm drainage system and is preparing to install the concrete pavement, Slawinski said.

6. Waterfall Drive reconstruction
This project consists of a complete reconstruction of Waterfall Drive from the new connection point of Independence Boulevard south to where Waterfall Drive ends. Missouri City City Council authorized RG Miller Inc. to perform design. Construction is estimated to bid in the spring of 2019.
