Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes saw a decrease in the number of homes sold in December compared to December 2022, with 179 homes sold versus 236 the previous December.

All five ZIP codes saw decreased home sales, with ZIP code 77489 seeing a 50% decrease year over year. Despite this, the median price of homes sold increased in three of five ZIP codes. The largest spike in median home sales price year over year was in ZIP code 77479, with 16.37%.

Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market rose overall in that time period and increased in three of five local ZIP codes. The time spent on the market was more than 50% higher than the same time last year in both the 77478 and 77498 ZIP codes.
