An Italian ice and gelato dessert spot has opened in Missouri City.

Carey’s Frozen Delights will host a grand opening at a new storefront at 2603 Cartwright Road, Missouri City, on Saturday, Sept. 3, Franchise Owner Danita Carey told Community Impact Newspaper. The storefront held a soft opening Aug. 20.

Started under a franchise back in 2014 in a dessert food trailer called Repicci’s Italian Ice and Gelato, the storefront will offer a variety of desserts, including Italian ice flavors, such as creamsicle, lemon, cherry and pina colada, along with gelato flavors, such as dark chocolate, coconut, coffee, sea salt caramel and pistachio. 281-969-5177. www.italianice.com
