Removery, a tattoo-removal company, will soon start a remodel project for a new Sugar Land location.

Removery will start a remodel project of a nearly 1,500-square-foot space at 15293 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, on Aug. 30, according to a permit from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The remodel will cost approximately $220,000 and run until Nov. 15, according to the permit.

Removery utilizes laser technology to remove tattoos by breaking apart larger ink particles layer by layer, according to the Removery website. The body’s white blood cells can then carry away the smaller broken down particles quicker. Depending on various factors like age, lifestyle, general health, tattoo location and skin tone, time and continued sessions can completely remove a tattoo, according to the website. www.removery.com
