Located at 1111 Hwy. 6, Ste. 155, Sugar Land, Texas Pediatric has been open and accepting patients since March 28, said Dr. Oluyemisi Adeyemi-Fowode, a board-certified OB/GYN who runs the clinic.
The opening represents the very first private practice childhood and adolescent gynecology clinic in the state of Texas, said Adeyemi-Fowode, who works with her medical team to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders and illnesses that affect the reproductive health and function of adolescent girls, according to the clinic’s website.
“There is definitely a need for these types of clinics,” Adeyemi-Fowode said. “This is a fairly new sub-specialty.”
