A new two-story, 33,000-square-foot clinic at 11211 Nexus Ave., Stafford, off Southwest Freeway and between Kirkwood and West Airport drives, has just officially broken ground.

Located in The Grid, a 192-acre, mixed-use development built on the former Texas Instruments campus in the heart of Stafford, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic broke ground on the new clinic, which is expected to open in fall 2022, the health care clinic announced March 24.

Elected officials and community leaders were present for the virtual groundbreaking, including Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George and Precinct 2 Commissioner Grady Prestage. A panel discussion on lowering total medical costs followed, according to the announcement.

The new clinic will have space for 15 providers with the possibility to expand to up to 27 providers in the future, according to a past announcement. The new clinic will offer primary and specialty health care for adults and children along with convenient access to on-site imaging, including routine X-ray, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DEXA bone density scan, and capability for mobile MRI and CT. www.kelsey-seybold.com
